Jermaine Hopkins, 'Lean on Me' Actor, Billed with Drugs
Actor Jermaine Hopkins, most broadly noted for his role as Thomas Sams inside the 1989 film 'Lean On Me,' was arrested now on drug charges. According to TMZ, Hopkins allegedly tried to purchase 200 pounds of weed from an undercover officer in Arizona. Following a drug deal went lower, cops arrested the actor, then looked his apartment, where yet another 100 pounds of pot is discovered. He's now charged with two legal counts of getting, moving and selling marijuana, and faces around five years jail time. Furthermore to 'Lean on Me,' Hopkins starred alongside Tupac Shakur in 'Juice' His latest role reaches the 2008 straight-to-Dvd and blu-ray, 'Cash Rules.'
