Freestyle hungry for 'Donner Pass'

Freestyle Digital Media has acquired U.S. rights to horror thriller "Donner Pass," and plans a release inside the first quarter.FDM introduced the sale Saturday, 72 hrs after beginning its new platform for digital distribution, cable and VOD round the opening day's the American Film Market. FDM suggested digital VOD platform to have the ability to growing independent filmmaker revenues through enhanced marketing efficiencies of day and date theatrical, and optimizing returns from direct-to-video releases. "Donner Pass" originates from Arroyo Filmworks, director Elise Robertson, producer Mouncey Ferguson, and film author Scott Adams. Film notifies the story of settlers in 1846 who increased being snowbound inside the Sierra Nevada Hills and required to use cannibalism to live -- and many teens around the ski trip 150 years later who identify the curse in the Donner Party still haunts people hills when individuals from the group start coming not only dead, but half-eaten.
